ALBUM RELEASE RRÖD BASTARD ENSEMBLE

RRÖD BASTARD ENSEMBLE began as an ensemble after Jørgen Teller had played a series of legendary solo-concerts at local coffee shops in Vesterbro Copenhagen 2019. Dusty'n'spaced electric guitar-based works routed in Teller's real Red Bastard - a red re-stringed Höfner Galaxie. The ensemble immediately touched fire with their live-recorded concert at the H15 Studio in the meatpacking district end of 2020. In the ensemble the electric guitars and bowed strings - cello and double bass - interact in shifting timbre and use of effects. Using long fades - to glide from different set-ups of fuzz, delays and huge reverbs - the ensemble reach both simplicity and escapism in their long stretches of each piece.
